Ogni scena è coronata spesso da personaggi umani, cavalli, esseri... in primo piano in modo da far risultare il disegno arricchito ed elegante.

Espen realizza per oltre 10 anni le immagini coloratissime dei calendari dei Vigili del fuoco di Taio (Trento). La collaborazione inizia nel 2004, sia calendari con creature simpatiche dei boschi, stile Winx con “vigilesse”, figurative o con interventi/effetti grafici su foto con inserimento di fumetti.
